The Gitzelli artisans work in Ghana and Kenya to weave beautiful, traditional baskets in many designs and colors.

The beautiful bolga baskets are hand woven in small villages of Ghana, a tradition passed down from generation to generation. They are woven out of renewable resources, including banana leaf and elephant grass, which grow abundantly in the region. Each basket is hand woven and 100% unique!

The fruit baskets are hand woven by artisans in Kenya, each basket is uniquely handmade from the sisal fibers of the cactus plant. Sisal is an environmentally friendly fiber and it is biodegradable. The sisal is intricately wrapped around grass or banana leaves, creating unique and colorful fruit baskets.
